This truly is what makes our wonderful Astoria Ugly.
Click the photo to see every thoughtful detail - stained glass in the porch gable and a Home Depot clearance chandelier. The place is militantly maintained.

This house is very close to my apartment it was horrifying to watch it being built it is just TOO PINK even for me.
This is part of my newest tattoo on my left wrist, I drew it up all by myself and I’m far too proud :D It was done by Liz at Rock and Roller in South Wales (UK) and she was amazing :]
Actually, queers are at a higher risk of cancer, because we are at an increased probability of engaging in high-risk behaviors, such as smoking, alcoholism, drug abuse, un-safe sex, AND, on top of all that, not seeking regular medical care.
Why, you ask? Well, it’s quite simple. Those high-risk behaviors are coping mechanisms for the shit we get from society, and the lack of education and information as a result of getting shit from society.
We’re also less inclined to seek regular medical care because we are more likely to experience discrimination from our doctors than non-queers. We are more likely to experience bias and bigotry based on our gender identity/expression and our sexual orientation. Would you trust someone to care for your physical well-being if they didn’t give two shits in a crap barrel about your mental and emotional health?
So yes, queers are at a higher risk of cancer, as well as a plethora of other things. But it’s because of social ineptitude at dealing with difference that we are at higher risks. This is just another way in which the social system is the cause of our problem, but shirks the responsibility of acknowledging it.
Reblog for commentary and just to mention that teen queers also have a significantly higher teen pregnancy rate, which not as health threatening as cancer obvs, but important in the discussion of not seeking health care/need for societal support.
These are three of my favorite quotes from Harry Potter that make up the Deathly Hallows symbol. I grew up with Harry Potter and it is such a big part of my life. The tattoo is on my lower back and is covering up my scar from back surgery.
My dream tat!
These are not the quotes I would choose, and I am not a fan of deathly hallows symbol tattoos.
But regardless of both of those things? This is my favorite HP tattoo I have ever seen.
