5. A description of my self-esteem.

I wrote something I liked a lot but then I accidentally deleted it and now I can’t be assed to recreate it…. but that kinda demonstrates my self-esteem perfectly. (Sometimes I love myself lots but then I don’t and it’s too hard to get that back.)

10. My favorite animal.

I never know what to say to this question I think snails are kinda amazing and also I really like hermit crabs and come to think of it I really dig animals that have their own shell/home thing they can hide out in whenever but really I had never made that connection before so. It’s something to sit with. (A House for Hermit Crab is on my list of top-10 picture books).

20. Favorite flavor of ice cream.

Cookie dough. I am super into ben + jerry’s half-baked froyo rather than ice cream. Pistachio on and off since i was a kid. Spumoni is excellent even tho i hate cherry or chocolate icecream on their own. It’s all about the pistachio.

25. What are my future plans?

I don’t know but being me has taught me that shit works out, even if somewhat bizarrely.

my ability to be a grown-up (or lack there of), how others perceive me.

Solo artists too cuz why not. Britney motherfucking Spears; P!nk, They Might Be Giants, Girlyman, Tegan & Sara, Kevin Devine… dude is that seriously it? Wow I suck.

40. Where I would like to live.

Talbot house. Oh wait, I do. Seriously in life I have this problem where there is nowhere I want to live more than NYC/Queens, but also I want to not live in the same place forever. It’s so hard to be from NYC? ha.

An airplane, my own typing.

54. What I hate/hated the most about school.

I hate that I never learned to do it right, I hate that I went to a school that was so informal through 3rd grade so I never developed the sense that says “we do this because it’s school and so we just do,” I hate that Marisa Stone was always better than me at the Storytelling Contest, the Science Fair at Elementary School Part 2. I hate that I went to three schools in three years between the age of 10 and 13. Now I am a grown-up and I hate academic elitism, I still can’t understand why school is a thing that we do…

And oh yeah I am an education geek. I like being confusing
